The reel itself is exactly what I ordered - solid build, smooth rotation, and feels every bit as strong as advertised. The all-metal frame and spool look great, and the drag feels ready for big fish.
Luckily, the reel doesn't seem damaged and works fine, but I definitely expected better protection for a reel of this size and weight.
Overall, happy with the product just wish the packaging was more secure.

I've used this reel about five times on different days, and so far it's been working well with no issues at all. I'm just not sure what one of the parts is for, so I'm a bit curious about that. Other than that, the reel has been smooth, solid, and easy to use. Great experience overall.
