ReelUp Fishing (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and retain information about you when you visit or make a purchase from our website at https://reelup.net.

ReelUp Fishing is an online fishing gear store operated from Saitama, Japan. It is not affiliated with reelup.io or with the ReelUp Fishing social app on the Apple App Store.

  • Personal Information: name, email address, shipping address, phone number.
  • Order Information: items purchased, payment method, billing details. Full payment card numbers are handled by our payment processors and are not stored by us.
  • Device & Usage Information: IP address, browser type, time zone, pages viewed, and time spent on the site.
  • Cookies and Tracking Technologies: including Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, and Microsoft Clarity, used for marketing and performance measurement.

  • Process and fulfill orders, including shipping and returns

4. International Data Transfers

We are based in Japan. Our website is hosted by Shopify, and order fulfillment for U.S. customers is handled by a warehouse partner in Texas, United States. This means your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in Japan, the United States, Canada, and other countries where our service providers operate. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your country of residence.

5. U.S. State Privacy Rights and Opt-Out

7. Data Retention

We keep order records for as long as necessary to provide support, handle returns and warranty claims, and meet tax and accounting obligations. Marketing contact data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Analytics and advertising data is retained according to the retention settings of the platforms named in section 1.

8. Children’s Privacy

Our store is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information, including Shopify’s secure infrastructure, HTTPS encryption, and restricted access to customer data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We use cookies to operate the store, improve your shopping experience, and serve relevant ads. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings. Disabling some cookies may affect how the store works.
