Really satisfied with this reel so far. It holds plenty of braided line and the weight feels right for a reel this size, sturdy without being tiring to cast. The build feels solid, and the operation is smooth straight out of the box. I've been using it mainly for surf casting, and it has handled long distance casts and rougher conditions without any issues. Definitely a great pick if you need something strong for big fish and long throws.

I've used this reel about five times on different days, and so far it's been working well with no issues at all. I'm just not sure what one of the parts is for, so I'm a bit curious about that. Other than that, the reel has been smooth, solid, and easy to use. Great experience overall.

This is a really nice reel. It feels smooth, has a relatively smooth drag, and it looks and feels very well made. And despite all this, the cost was quite low. I have spent far more on reels, but I do not know that I have ever received this kind of value for the money spent.
I bought the Flat Spool AG6500 reel. I paired it with a 6 foot 6 inch ultralight rod, intending to use it for crappies. It works great for that and balances well. As you can see in the picture, an occasional bass joins the party! And the reels drag was up to the challenge for bigger fish like this on 4 pound line. The size of the reel is good for this application. I like to feather the line with my index finger during the cast, and this reel??s size makes that convenient.
As a side note, I really like the hexagon cutout pattern on the side of the spool. I want my reels to function great and care less about the looks, but it is fun to have one that works great and looks cool too.
Overall, I am very happy with this purchase.
It balances well on my rod so the weight is good for me. Value is off the charts and I would give that 6 stars if I could.
Durability: So far, so good. I have caught many fish on this reel over approximately 3 months, and it has been perfect so far.
This reel is much higher quality than you would expect for the price, so do not be swayed by the low cost. It provides smooth casting, solid durability, and an attractive design. If I were to do it over again, I likely would have chosen the AC3000 size instead of the AC12000, because the larger model may be more than I need for my lake. I feel confident that this reel will handle any walleye or largemouth bass in my area.
I also appreciate the extra spool, which allows me to choose between two different line weights or line types. The spool that comes installed on the reel feels metallic, while the second spool feels like it is made from a composite material.
Do not hesitate, even if you are unsure about purchasing a reel from a foreign brand. The investment is low, and it is worth giving it a chance. This may become your go to reel and company for the next several years. I highly recommend it.
