4000番をショアゲーム用に購入しましたが、想像以上にしっかりしたリールです。
ボディ剛性が高く、巻き取りも非常にスムーズで、ドラグの立ち上がりも安定しています。
PEラインとの相性も良く、キャスト時のトラブルも今のところ一切ありません。
この価格帯でこの作りと性能は正直驚きました。

I've taken this reel in both freshwater and light saltwater, and it's handled everything from feisty trout to bigger bass without complaint. The drag is strong and predictable, and even under pressure it stays consistent. I also appreciate the comfortable grip and sturdy feel it inspires confidence when you're into a good fight.

Great reel for the price. I have used it for crappie , small mouth bass and large mouth bass and it has performed very well. Nice smooth drag too. I loaded it with 8lb mono and it casts a 1/4 ounce jig a good distance. A very good reel for a very good price.

Really liking this reel so far. I paired the Aries II with a lightweight purple rod, and even after recent hand and shoulder surgeries, I was able to fish for about three hours with zero pain - normally I can only make it an hour or two at most.
The reel handled surprisingly well under pressure too. I hooked into what I'm pretty sure was a skate or a small ray with a wingspan close to 10 feet, and the Aries II held its own the entire fight. Wish I had a picture, but if I hook another one tonight, I??ll definitely snap one.
Overall, great reel with impressive strength for its size. I'd love to see ReelUp offer a bigger version built the same way. Thanks again!
