Really impressed with how light this reel feels - the magnesium-style body definitely keeps the weight down. The finish looks nice too. I haven't taken it out on the water yet, but in the hand it seems durable and well built. If it performs as well as it feels, this will be a great value pick.

I bought this to replace the factory reel that came with my kids Ugly Stik combo, and the difference is huge.
The original reel felt rough and inconsistent, but this ReelUp reel is much smoother right out of the box.
The drag feels solid and reliable as well honestly, not far from my Pflueger President in terms of smoothness.
For the price, this upgrade completely exceeded my expectations.

Excellent reel for large catfish! I've been using the 5000 series, and it has plenty of power, smooth retrieve, and enough line capacity to handle strong runs. The drag feels consistent, and the reel has stayed solid even when fighting heavy fish. For the price, it's an impressive reel that gets the job done.

This ReelUp reel is very light but still feels solid and reliable.
Casting and retrieving are silky smooth, and the handle grip has the same non-slip material as my rod, so it stays secure even when it gets wet.
