I've been using the ReelUp LT Series spinning reel for both freshwater and light inshore saltwater trips, and overall it's been a solid performer. The CNC metal spool and rocker arm give it a sturdy feel, and the retrieve is smooth and reliable on a variety of lures and conditions.
The only thing keeping me from five stars is that I had to spend a bit of time dialing in the drag and line setup to get the smoothest cast possible. Once it's tuned, though, it casts well and feels balanced on my rod. For the price, this is a dependable reel that will cover most everyday fishing needs.

As a self proclaimed "reel geek" I was hesitant to purchase one of these reels even after the outstanding reviews and specs. I decided to give it a shot and WOW am I impressed!!! Really solid feeling,smooth, great drag and the line lay is awesome!! I have the 3000 size and have caught many 35+ inch snook!! DEFINITELY recommend if you don't mind a reel on the heavier side compared to Daiwa and Shimano. I have it spooled with 15lb j-braid grand and put it on a tsunami Forged inshore rod for a perfect match!!!

I bought this ReelUp long-cast reel for surf fishing and it has been a tank so far. The all metal body and spool feel solid in the hand, and the tapered spool lip really does help it cast farther than my old flat-lip reels with the same line and weight. I have been throwing heavier sinkers into current and the 15 kg drag has had no problem turning strong fish away from the rocks.
Even after a few salty trips the reel still feels smooth and tight, with no wobble and no grinding. The metal reel foot locks down on my rod seat and the big handle makes it easy to crank under load. For the price, it is hard to beat a reel that feels this sturdy and purpose-built for long-distance casting. I would absolutely buy another one.

I've been using this reel on the Texas coast for roughly 12 weeks since buying it, mostly for surf fishing. Even on the days I forgot to rinse it with fresh water afterward, it's still been working just fine. Smooth enough for regular use and strong enough for medium-to-large fish.
For the price, it's definitely a good value. Not perfect, but it has held up well so far and continues to get the job done.

② 重さについては数時間の釣りでは気にならないが、夜釣りで長時間になると少し疲れが出てくる。
とはいえ、実際に使ってみるとこの程度で、ワンランク上のリールと比べても性能面でほとんど遜色ありません。
この価格でここまでの品質なら“破格”だと思います。
海の近くに住んでいるため週3〜4日は釣りに行き、ライトゲームで使っていますが、ここ3ヶ月間まったく不具合なし。
水洗いとオイルの手入れをしていれば、数年は問題なく使える上位入門クラスのリールだと感じます。
上位機を持っている方でも、予備として一台持っておく価値は十分にあると思います。
