I was a bit worried at first because I know saltwater gear has to be tough and able to take a beating, but at this price I decided to take a chance on it. When the reel arrived I was pleasantly surprised it feels very solid in the hand and has already held up great on several deep sea trips.
I'll admit the price tag did make me hesitate, especially if you're thinking about buying more than one setup, but after using it offshore I don't really feel bad about what I paid. I'm already planning to order another.

The noise on this reel is very low even in a quiet spot it doesn't make much sound and definitely won't spook the fish. The handling feels great too; it spins and reels very smoothly and is easy to control.
The only downside is that shipping was about a day slower than I expected, but the reel itself performs so well that I still feel comfortable recommending it.
